ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant to join Ewamian Limited, supporting our General Manager and Board to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our corporate group.
In this role, you will coordinate executive communications, prepare internal and external documents, manage meetings, travel and events, and uphold confidentiality while maintaining an organised electronic and paper-based filing system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide high-level executive office administration to support the General Manager and Board.

Manage calls, emails, and client communications.

Prepare corporate documents for the GM, Board, Ewamian People, and government/industry partners.

Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, travel itineraries, and internal/external corporate events.

Arrange and support Board meetings, workshops, seminars, teleconferences and video conferences, including travel and catering.

Maintain records including minutes, action registers, Conflict of Interest register, and membership databases.

Support the GM with additional administrative and coordination tasks as required.
YOU WILL HAVE
-
Qualifications in office or business management or relevant experience in a similar role.

At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within an Aboriginal Corporation or a similar environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and professional reports and documents.

Excellent time management skills, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

A high level of administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record-keeping systems.

The ability to work with minimal supervision while taking professional direction as needed.

A commitment to the recognition of Aboriginal people within the native title sphere.

A current manual Queensland driver’s licence.
-
Willingness to travel around the region.
